We are very excited to announce that Queen's has been recognised in the Spear's Schools Index 2026 and included among Spear's Top 100 Schools in the world! We have been recognised in a number of national awards over the years, but this is the first time we have received global recognition for the quality of our work. What makes it even more special is that it came as a complete surprise - we did not apply and had no prior indication that we would be included. After reviewing their methodology, it is clear the process is rigorous, and it is encouraging to see awards now looking beyond raw results, which often reflect selectivity as much as achievement and towards a more holistic view of education. The accolade accompanying our entry - ‘achievement and a forward-looking mindset’ - is especially meaningful. It celebrates achievement in all its forms for every individual and recognises our commitment to preparing pupils for the future through initiatives such as the Future Frontiers programme (more information below), equipping them not just with strong qualifications but with the mindset and skills they will need for life beyond school.
